Forge Shop:
We are equipped with a range of hammers, which enables us to forge
single piece weighing up to 5,000 kgs. This unit is adequately equipped
with support facilities such as heating furnaces, manipulators, over
head cranes and die repair shop. Our forge shop is equipped with over 1
band saws having a capacity to saw steel up to 1500mm.
Heat Treatment Plant:
Heat treatment is decisive in obtaining the required quality of
products. This department is well equipped with furnaces, which are
capable of solution annealing, normalizing, hardening, tempering and
stress relieving.
Quenching Tanks:
The Oil and Water quenching media is in continuous circulation inside
the tank. The temperature of the quenching media is controlled through
the help of heat exchangers and cooling tower. The temperature of
quenching media is not allowed to exceed 39°C. The agitation
process ensures that there is no air jacket formation on the material
being quenched. We have 2 oil quenching tanks having a capacity of
20,000 liter ( Size- 14”x10”x6” ) and 1,20,000 Liter (
Size - 19”x18”x8” ). Similarly, we have 2 water quenching
tanks having capacity of 20,000 ( Size - 14”x10”x6” ) and
1,20,000 liter ( Size - 19”x18”x8” ).
Machine Shop:
Chaudhry Hammer's in house machining equipment consists of numerous
modern lathes, drill machines, CNC’s, VTL's, VMC's capable of
machining large range of diameter and drills. We also have an array of
outside approved machining vendors to enhance our capacity and ensure
timely supplies to our customers.
Stock Unit:
We have more than 7000 MT of steel at any given time. Our stock unit
makes sure that various types and grades of the material are always
available in sufficient quantity for regular production as well as for
contingency requirements.
Ring Rolling Line:
We have state of the art Ring Rolling Line
- Hydraulic Press (Capacity – 4000 MT)
The press is used for production of flanges and preforms under
controlled conditions in the least possible time. It is pleasure
watching the automated hydraulic press working effortlessly. The
press is equipped with a moving bolster having three stations. It
has a set of centering arms and two swing arms for indentation and
piercing operations. The blanks are made and sent to ring rolling
mill for rolling. The press has been imported from M/S Schuler of
Germany.
- Ring Rolling Machine
We have a radial axial ring rolling machine which is operated on
Computer Aided Rolling Windows program. It can roll rings and
different profiles specially Flanges. It can roll the rings of size
ranging from 300mm to 4500mm in diameter. The height range of the
ring is from 30mm to 650 mm. The machine is equipped with the latest
PLC and CNC system. The machine is also equipped with special
software Rolltech Ring and Rolltech Flange. The production is
carried out in controlled environment. This Ring Rolling Machine is
imported from M/S SMS-MEER (WAGNER) of Germany.
Manipulators:
We have world’s best manipulators for hot metal forming which are
reliable and safe. All the manipulators have been imported from DANGO &
DIENENTHAL- Germany. . The manipulators are designed to work in hostile
environment of forge shop that they can operate and maneuver in the
least possible space available. These manipulators help us in full and
effective material movement during hot forming process.
